Mentor Groups
MB teachers and staff are each responsible for leading small groups of 15-20 students in mentor groups.

•Groups meet throughout the year (15-17 times);

•Teachers have the same group of students throughout all four years of high school;

•Every lesson/topic is structured & purposeful.
Throughout the year, students utilize their time in PRIDE to organize and supplement their portfolio (a valuable piece of the senior culminating project). PRIDE time is also dedicated to planning and preparation for student-led conferences, career exploration activities, discussion and analysis of standardized testing and assessment results, and academic and post-high school goal setting.
The overall goal of PRIDE 101 mentor groups is to provide students a forum for exploring their academic career, making meaning of their high school experience, and understanding the connection between their current choices and consequent achievements after high school.
