SUMMER OFFICE HOURS - The Acme Office will be open June 22-24 from 9am-2 pm and by appointment outside of those hours. YES, THERE IS A FREE LUNCH! - Meals are available in the summer to all children ages 1 through 18. Read on for more details. Download the Summer School Registration Form and the Summer School Bus Routes.
Class Configuration 09/10 This is the time of year when all schools are sorting out how many classes they will create for next year, who will teach those classes and which students will be assigned to those classes. Our goal is always to create the most effective learning environments for your children. After much discussion and consideration, the Acme staff has determined the following class configuration for the 09/10 school year:
We are working on assigning students to classes. We greatly appreciate the information you provided on the placement request forms. That information is very important as we create class lists for next year. Thank you for your continued support of your children and Acme School.
PARENTS OR GUARDIANS OF 5TH GRADERS - We need to hear from you. The Tdap is a new vaccine which the State is requiring schools to have in their records. One dose is required IF student is 11 years old and IF it has been at least 5 years since the last DTaP, DT or Td. Washington State Law WAC 248-100-166 requires that all children admitted to the public school have specific required immunizations/reports. Therefore, as soon as your child receives this vaccine, please notify your school by phone or by fax. We will need the name of the student, the name of the vaccine and the date the vaccine is received and if calling in, the name of the person calling. Thank you!
A GREAT BIG THANK YOU - Acme Elementary would like to thank the Foothills 4-H group and their volunteer group for sprucing up our flower beds on Earth Day! They look beautiful! A NOTE FROM FOOTHILLS 4-H - We would like to thank everyone who donated their time and/or materials to make the Earth Day project at Acme School a success. We had a great turn out of kids, parents, and some staff to work. We put in a solid 4 hours of weeding and planting! It looks great! DO YOU LIVE OR WORK ON FEDERAL PROPERTY? - The MBSD receives funds from the federal government Impact Aid program. This program provides financial assistance to schools instead of property tax dollars for students residing on Indian lands and other government property and/ or students residing with parents employed or reporting to work on federal property. Working jobs such as casino employees, tribal employees, active military, border patrol, and any employment in federal buildings is what we need to know. If you are employed in a job that is listed above, and have not filled out a Federal Property Survey Form, please call the office @ 383-2045 and talk to Michelle. We will send a form home with your child.
SCHOOL PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR ACME ELEMENTARY - OSPI provides a "report card" for every school in the state. WASL scores and demographic data about our district are provided. Follow this link to get data about Acme Elementary.

Welcome to beautiful downtown Acme, Washington, home of Acme Elementary School. The rural setting of the South Fork Valley provides a wonderful variety of opportunities for our students. Our 262 students will be found in Kindergarten through Sixth Grades. A quick tour of the building may show students in a variety of classroom activities and groupings. Cross grade activities, small group instruction, assemblies, group projects, and much more provide a wealth of educational alternatives for our students.
The data in this web site was prepared by school district personnel, building staff, and the Acme Steering Committee. It provides us with an opportunity to share with the Acme School community, as well as the internet community, information about who we are, what we are doing and where we are going.
Our goal for this web site is to provide you with useful information. Any feedback that you have is encouraged and welcome. If you have suggestions for additions or general comments, please contact us at school.
