Let me tell you a little about myself. I grew up in Danville, California which is about 30 minutes (ok with traffic it is more like 45) east of San Francisco. As a kid I played soccer all through school, and loved skiing and raced for my high school ski team in Lake Tahoe. I met my husband Craig while working at Snowbird Ski Resort in Utah, and together we have climbed, hiked, backpacked, and traveled all around the west. Now we have 2 kids and 2 dogs that keep us busy. I love to read books, run, hike, and hang out with family and friends.   

I knew from early on that I wanted to be a teacher. I started teaching lessons  and handing out homework to my very compliant stuffed animals as soon as I got my first little chalkboard! Much later,  I went to a few colleges, but finished up my teaching program at the University of Utah in 2000. I only taught one year(3rd grade) in Utah before we moved back to Bellingham to be near my husband's family. I am proud to say this will be my 7th year at Acme! Acme kids and the awesome teaching staff  keep me coming back! I simply love my job.
