What is the policy for head lice control?  We need to have regular checks.

The goal of Mount Baker’s head lice program is to prevent the spread of head lice with the least disruption to the educational process. This is accomplished by working collaboratively with families, community and school staff. Procedures address the referral process, screening and identification, classroom checks, return to school, communication to parents, follow-up and support by the school nurse, educational components and teacher guidelines for the classroom. Procedures are based on guidelines from the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, Whatcom County Health Department, WA State Dept of Health, The American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Association of School Nurses.
