#1 - Where can Acme visitors park?
One of the comments was about the limited parking around the school site. The parking spaces in front of the school are used by staff. Most arrive early in the morning with armloads and boxes of materials to bring into the building. Those same folks trek out to their vehicles in the dark of evening with more armloads and boxes of materials. The curbside parking excludes private vehicles only from 9:00 - 9:30 each morning and again from 3:00 - 3:30 in the afternoons. Private vehicles are welcome to park at the curb before and after those periods.
The gravel parking area on the west side of the building is potholed and muddy. We have made a request to the district maintenance department to improve that situation. Unfortunately, there are many requests for maintenance services and limited resources to address all of those requests. Our parking needs are in the mix and we will just have to see when they can be addressed by the district.
