This
tool tells us about how much a student can understand from their reading.
The information from S.T.A.R. as well as the fluency rates from our MASI
assessment gives the teacher a more complete picture of each student’s reading
skills.
The lower rates for Winter can be attributed to new students, harder
passages and other issues. Teachers
will be examining this data and other pieces of information to determine how to
increase student performance in this area.
