Acme Steering Committee Minutes

September 25, 2002

Members Present: Jackie Ebert, Ellyn Erickson, Kathy Scodeller, Diane Leigh, Lillian Green, Libby Westdal

Members Absent: Linda Nieuwendorp

New Issues:

1.  Membership – Bob Baker verbally submitted his resignation from the ASC.  He enjoyed the opportunity to work on all of the varied issues of the past, but feels that he needs to spend time in other ways.   The committee reluctantly accepted his request.  Linda Nieuwendorp was reassigned to the Bus Driver Position and we opened the Classified ASC position.  A request for volunteers to serve in the Parent Positions as well as the Classified Position will be distributed by Ellyn.

2.  School Improvement Plan – The committee reviewed the 2002-2003 Acme School Improvement Plan.  The end of the year data was very interesting for all ASC Members.  There were a couple of typos that need to be repaired.  Also, some data that seems to be missing.  Ellyn will revise the document.  It was also suggested and agreed to place the Acme School Improvement Plan onto the Web-site.  Ellyn will submit the document electronically to Doug Sutton, the district Webmaster, for posting.
