1. SIP Site Visit -
Preparation
 | The ALT members had
prepared for the meeting by reading the documents for Site Visits from the
School Improvement Manual. Invitations were extended to any staff member
who might be interested in participating in the site visit or the
preparation process. |
 | Dr. Gary Wall led us
through that document and explained how the visit might contain a collection
of artifacts as well as observations and conversations. We reviewed the
purpose of our visit and studied the suggested questions. We shared out the
questions with our adaptations. |
 | We began to create an
action plan for the actual visit. There were some very |
specific job-alike questions and concerns. We will have individuals or
teams create
their list of specific questions to submit to Marion Evenson prior to our
site
visit. The information we receive from her will help us determine what
actual
activities we might want to plan for the visit.
Ellyn will create an action plan chart with tasks, people responsible and
deadline dates.
