ACME ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

May 17, 2000

Members Present: Erika Alexander, Ellyn Erickson, Bob Baker, Michelle Anderson, Chris Murray, and Lillian Green

New Items:

A.               The budget for 1999-2000 was passed out for the ASC to look over.

In Process:

A.               Ellyn shared the results from the parent surveys regarding class configurations.  We tentatively assigned all students into classrooms.  We have put together 2 classes at each grade level with no combined classrooms at this point - however things can and do change!

B.                Ellyn gave a summary to the committee about our work we did on our last waiver day, May 8^th.    We set many dates on the school calendar including Ice Cream Social/Curriculum Night and Missoula Children's Theater.  We also discussed the activity days and assemblies - we changed some of the formats of each.  A new schedule for recess and lunch was created as a result of this day.

C.                An email was sent out to all staff members to see if any one was interested in being a part of an Ad-hoc committee to look over the discipline plan.
