School Board Meeting - Thursday, October 25, 2007

Special Meeting Minutes

Board members present: Ellen Dodson, Trish Hart, David Smith, Russ Pfeiffer-Hoyt, Jim Freeman

Ms Dodson called the special meeting to order at 7:05 pm.

Mr. Freeman moved and Mr. Smith seconded to approve all items on the Consent Agenda. Motion Passed.

1.       Consent Agenda

a)      Purchases over $7,500.00

                                                                           i.      Blaine School District – Readiness to Learn $28,734.00

                                                                         ii.      Linda DuBois – 2007/08 Services $9,120.00

                                                                        iii.      Educational Student Tours – JH Science Trip to CA $34,980.00

                                                                       iv.      Lynden School District – Readiness to Learn $32,910.00

                                                                         v.      Nooksack Valley School District – Readiness to Learn $32,910.00

                                                                       vi.      SCS – Sophos Enterprise 3 Year $9,332.50

b)      Approval of Accounts Payable II for October 2007

Vouchers audited and certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense claims certified as required by RCW 42.24.090, have been recorded on a listing, which has been made available to the Board.  As of this day, October 25, 2007 the Board by a unanimous vote does approve the payment of those vouchers included in the above list and further described as follows:  ASB Fund vouchers #69 – 80 in the total amount of $7,557.72 and General Fund vouchers #17335 – 17436 in the total amount of $92,100.20.
