School Board Meeting - Thursday, November 29, 2007

Special Meeting Minutes

Board members present: Ellen Dodson Trish Hart, David Smith, Russ Pfeiffer-Hoyt; Jim Freeman was absent and excused.  Ms Dodson called the special meeting to order at 5:05 pm.

Mr. Pfeiffer-Hoyt moved and Mr. Smith seconded to approve all items on the Consent Agenda. Motion Passed.

1.       Consent Agenda

a)      Purchases over $7,500.00

                                                                           i.      Dell Marketing, LP - $9,178.44

                                                                         ii.      Sue Curtis - $19,500.00

                                                                        iii.      Nancy Falconer - $11,490.00

                                                                       iv.      Readiness to Learn:

1.       Bellingham School District - $43,352.00

2.       Blaine School District - $28,734.00

3.       Ferndale School District - $30,300.00

4.       Meridian School District - $26,298.00

5.       Lynden School District - $32,910.00

6.       Nooksack School District - $32,910.00

b)      Resolution #07/08:8 – Surplus Property

c)      Approval of Accounts Payable II for November 2007

Vouchers audited and certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense claims certified as required by RCW 42.24.090, have been recorded on a listing, which has been made available to the Board.  As of this day, November 29, 2007 the Board by a unanimous vote does approve the payment of those vouchers included in the above list and further described as follows:  ASB Fund vouchers #106 – 126 in the total amount of $18,670.70 and General Fund vouchers #17754 – 17867 in the total amount of $123,819.56.
