Mt. Baker High School's Career Center has a variety of scholarship resources.   With the rising cost of education, many students and parents actively investigate scholarship opportunities.  Scholarship money is money students do not have to pay back.  Most all technical, community colleges and baccalaureate schools offer scholarships.   In addition, many private foundations and corporations offer scholarships.   Scholarships are VERY COMPETITIVE.  To be a successful scholarship candidate, students should start developing their profile in the 9th gradeOne of the most comprehensive scholarship websites that I have come across is: www.scholarshiphelp.org . This is a great place to start understanding the process.
