Girls Get Technical is a summer program for

Applicants must be residents of Western Washington who are planning to
attend an accredited independent school of their choice. Students must
have received a combined score on their SAT of over 1200 (not including
the writing section) or a 27 or higher on the ACT. Students must have
submitted a FAFSA and demonstrated financial need as determined by each
institution to which the student has applied. Students fill out a
portion of the application and the school they plan to attend must fill

Theta Corp Alpha Kappa Lambda Scholarship Cash

These book scholarships are being awarded to males attending the
University of Washington who will be founding members of the
Fraternity of Alpha Kappa Lambda. The scholarships are for $500 a
semester and may be renewed as long as the student maintains good
grades, remains a member of Alpha Kappa Lambda and the fraternity

REMINDERS:
SENIORS – Tues. Oct. 2nd is the last day to register
for the Nov. 3rd SAT college placement test. Registration
materials are available in the career center.
Monday, October 1st at 1:30 pm the Bellingham Technical
College Placement Test will be given on our campus. The test will
also be given on November 6th and December 4th.
Students must have signed up with Ms. Madison in order to take the test
on any of the above dates.
SCHOLARSHIPS:
Coca-Cola Scholars Cash value: varies
Must be a senior planning to attend any accredited post-secondary
institution. Selection of recipient will be based on scholarship,
academic record, community and school involvement. Students must apply

Applicant must plan to attend an accredited two-year or four-year
college. To qualify, students should be well-rounded, determined to do

Army ROTC Scholarships
Cash value: full tuition
Applicants must be high school students planning on attending a
four-year college program. To qualify, you must 1) Be a U.S. citizen
between the ages of 17 and 26 with a high school GPA of at least 2.50
who has a high school diploma or equivalent. 2) Have a score minimum of
920 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required
writing test scores) 3) Meet physical standards. 4)Agree to accept a
commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve
Component (U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard). The most
competitive candidates for an Army ROTC Four-Year Scholarship will have
at least an SAT score of 1100 or an ACT score of 24. Further

This scholarship is available to low income high achieving students.
This scholarship provides for FULL four-year scholarships to leading
colleges. Last year 46 full tuition scholarships were awarded to partner
schools such as Princeton, Rice, Stanford and Amherst University.

Wendy's High School Heisman Award Cash value:

Applications are accepted from both male and female student-athletes who
exhibit excellence in the classroom, on the playing field, and within
their communities. Eligibility for application is limited exclusively to
men and women whose senior year of high school is the 2007-2008 academic
year, who have at least a “B” grade average, and participate in at least
one of 33 sports. They want to hear from all student-athletes who work
hard, are dedicated, and have become role models for underclassmen.

Student must be in grades 5 -12 and have been involved in significant
volunteer work. One student is selected from the high school level

Students of Integrity Scholarship $1,000
The Better Business Bureau Foundation is offering (3) $1,000
scholarships for junior and senior high school students in
Western Washington. Students must have a 2.5 GPA or higher, submit one
letter of recommendation, and submit a 1,000 word essay on the
importance of ethics and integrity in the marketplace. Applications are

SAE Engineering Scholarships Cash value: varies
Several types of scholarships available; 1) corporate sponsored
scholarships in which a students must enroll in an ABET accredited
engineering program AND 2) university sponsored scholarships in which
students must enroll at a participating university in order to receive
the scholarship. All applicants must intend to earn a degree in
engineering, have at least a 3.5 GPA, and meet SAT/ACT score
