7-12 Mathematics

The high school math curriculum is a comprehensive program with options for success for students with all levels of ability.  For the student who has struggled, there are classes with individualized instruction to remediate specific areas of difficulty.  For students with good math ability, there are classes designed to encourage their thinking and skills. For students who want to pursue math further, a fourth year of pre-calculus is offered.  For the high-end student, there is an advanced program that quickly moves into more involved mathematics with the goal of completing calculus as a senior.  We think these programs offer alternatives for all our students to successfully complete mathematics classes at their level of understanding and opens the possibilities of further study should students wish to pursue them.
