At Mount Baker, we believe all students are entitled to a strong education in the arts. We know that a vital and defined link between the schools and the community is essential to the development of effective and long-lasting arts programs.  In the classroom with teachers, specialists, and artists-in-residence, and at our local Art Show, museums and theater trips, we want students to experience the wonder and imagination of the arts. Through creative communication of arts processes, it is our belief that students will grow in their skills, confidence and appreciation of the arts. We hope students will learn to recognize and expand their understanding of themselves, as well as their relationship to the world at-large.
