DEMING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
THE ARTS

Instruction in the arts is provided by the classroom teachers and visiting artists. In addition to special events at Deming such as Wickline Bluegrass, Moving to an African Beat and student recorder and choir performances, we also enjoy arts events organized by the District Arts Coordinator and Elementary Arts Committee. These include museum visits, performances at the Mount Baker Theater, a Washington State Arts Commission Artist-in-Residence and participation in the annual Spring Art Show at the Deming Community Library.
