DEMING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
CONFLICT MANAGERS
April, 1998
Conflict Managers serve their school by helping younger students find successful solutions to conflicts during recess. When not solving conflicts, they serve as game leaders, which provides choice for a more structured recess. The Conflict Manager Program promotes a more positive school climate and encourages the development of leadership skills for students in grades 5 and 6. This year the Conflict Managers also sponsored a food drive for the Deming Foothills Foodbank. Presently there are 20 Conflict Managers.
