Wong

Janet Wong grew up in California and became an attorney in the movie industry. However, when she discovered that her true passion is writing, she gave up 60 hours a week of legal work for 60 hours a week of following her passion. Her books and poems have won many awards. She has been on the Oprah Show and read poetry at the White House.

"I like to sandwich my poems in story, to show how the poems come from my life. Hopefully, when you read my poems, you will be reminded of your own stories: how you baked cookies with your grandmother, your birthday parties, your old friends."
