Individual Accomplishments

1980 - David Howem won the Regional Ag Mechanics Proficiency Award and was one of the 4 National Finalists.  This is the highest known achievement in the proficiency award category for Mt. Baker FFA.  A scholarship on his behalf for a Mt. Baker FFA member was set up after he passed away in 2005.

2002            Todd Rightmire recognized as Washington Agriscience Teacher of the Year by Washington State FFA Association

2004-2005    Todd Rightmire recognized as Washington State Outstanding Teacher by Washington Association of Agriculture Educators and Outstanding Teacher for Region 1 of the National Association of Agriculture Educators.

2005            Tamara Whitcomb recognized as Teacher Turn the Key Recipient by the National Association of Agriculture Educators

2006-2007     Mt. Baker HS Ag Program recognized as the State's Best Agriculture Program by the Washington Association of Agriculture Educators

2006-2007    Mt. Baker HS Ag Program recognized as the National Region 1 Agriculture Program of the Year by the National Association of Agriculture Educators
