BOARD BRIEFS FIRST DAYS OF SCHOOL |

In their September 9th meeting, school board members heard from Superintendent Rick Gantman that, “All buildings were open and running and kids are learning. District staff – cooks, custodians, secretaries, maintenance people, bus drivers, teachers, para-eds, counselors, and administrators worked hard to make sure each of our students felt welcome and knew where they needed to be and when they needed to be there. Schedule changes will continue to be made for the next few days in the junior and senior high buildings as students, staff and counselors find the best fit for everyone. It takes a culture of collaboration and cooperation to ensure that students at Mt Baker come into the very best learning and success oriented environment we can possibly provide.”
