bulletWILDLIFE:

We are creating niches for many different creatures.  They do not all live and feed in the same way.  This allows for more variety of organisms to occupy the same habitat area.  Some live and feed in the soil, some on the ground, still others in the shrubs and trees.

For example some birds find food at the ground level, such as worms, insects.  Others will feed off of fruit from the  crabapple tree, or insects on its bark.  Some birds nest on the ground, such as the killdeer, while others would nest in the branches of a tree.
