HARMONY NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER - A joint publication between Harmony Elementary and the Harmony PTA, it provides the November important dates and happenings of Harmony Elementary and the PTA. COLD AND FLU SEASON - Read on for some guidelines as to when to keep your child home from school.
Lost and Found- With the changing of the weather we see many kids wearing coats and sweatshirts in the morning but by the afternoon it becomes too warm and many are left on the playground. If you would please mark full names on coats and sweatshirts, we can match students with their clothing.
Just a reminder school officially starts at 9:25 am. Teachers take attendance and order lunches by 9:30. If possible, please try to arrive on time. If you find you are going to be late, please make sure the students stop in the office before going to the classroom so we can update attendance and order lunch as needed. Likewise, we request students do not enter the building until 9:15 am as we do not have supervision until that time.
This year we are incorporating PRIDE at Harmony. Throughout the year, we will have dedicated lessons around Performance through Preparation, Respect, Integrity, Determination and Excellence through Effort. We work hard to help our students succeed in school and in life. Together, we aim to increase academic achievement of all students, prepare students for success, maintain a safe and caring school and to promote family and community involvement. Please let us know how we can make this year a great year for you and your student. SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST 09/10 - Here is your updated list so you can keep your eye out for deals all summer! FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH APPLICATIONS - You can apply for Free and/or Reduced Lunch at anytime during the school year. Follow the link for the application form.
SCHOOL PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR HARMONY ELEMENTARY - OSPI provides a "report card" for every school in the state. WASL scores and demographic data about our district are provided. Follow this link to get data about Harmony Elementary. OSPI WASL RESOURCES - Resources for teachers, parents and students to better understand the WASL and the WASL requirements and to assist with interpreting student WASL results.
