Kendall Computer Lab is a very busy place. We have 43 computers. Teachers have the opportunity to teach a center class learning environment as well as outside groups or individual learning on the computers. One overhead projector connected to a lab computer for visual learning. The lab is used every minute of the school day. Some classes have a scheduled time, other classes sign up for a time that works with that classes schedule. The lab is used for whole class or individual testing in the programs S.T.A.R.™ (Standardized Test for Assessment of Reading. STAR is one of many assessments that is used to determine a students reading level).& AR©* (*(A.R.)© Accelerated Reader is a software program that manages a students reading practice. Having the capabilities to also learn on-line gives our students the opportunity to connect computers with curriculum in all areas of study.

Learning in a computer lab is not only using the programs and applications that are available, it is also researching on the internet. All students and staff have a signed Computer Network & Acceptable Use Agreement in place prior to using the internet.
