The Board of the Van Zandt Community Hall is pleased to announce the Dedication of the Josh VanderYacht Memorial Park. The Dedication Ceremony will take place at the park on the hall grounds on Memorial Day, May 27th at 2 PM.

The Mt. Baker School District played a pivotal role in creating this park. Special thanks and gratitude are owed to Mr. Shane Evans and the students in his math classes who worked on and provided the basic design for the park. The Josh Vander Yacht Park is a work of art as well as a recreational area that memorializes young people of the Mt. Baker School District region who have left us prematurely.
