Josh Vander Yacht Memorial Park
In the year 1999, Mount Baker graduate Josh Vander Yacht was killed in a construction accident. Josh was a popular student and a great athlete. To remember him the community of Van Zandt, Washington, decided to have a park built behind their community hall. During the 2000-2001 School Year, Mr. Shane Evans' Integrated 3 Math classes undertook a project that helped to design the Josh VanderYacht Park.
