The site for the project is in the town of VanZandt, Washington. It is about an acre and a half in size, with a little creek running across the back of the site and along the South side of the site. In the front part of the site there is the VanZandt hall, and the fire station, plus there is a church on the other side in the front. Now the site looks like a big swamp area, but as soon as construction begins the area will look really different. The father of Josh Vander Yacht wanted this memorial park so everyone can enjoy the park and at the same time remember Josh.
