THE FIRST ROCK OF 2006-2007
WE ARE KIND OF A BIG DEAL
The soccer team, after a successful season, was the first to paint the rock.
National FFA Week was celebrated at Spirit Rock. This was a difficult painting, because it rained for a long time prior to the painting - they had heaters and canopies to finish the decorations.
The back of the rock during National FFA week described the various events planned for the week.
Mount Baker's Class of 2002!
In May of 2002, the Boys and Girls Track Teams both won the state team championships in the AA division.
The back of the rock featured the names of the students who made it to state - including three individual state champions!
THE MBHS DRAMA DEPARTMENT PRESENTS THIS ALL-TIME CLASSIC IN NOVEMBER OF 2002!!!
BOYS GOLF, GIRLS GOLF, BOYS TRACK, GIRLS TRACK, BASEBALL AND FASTPITCH HAVE ALL COMPETED IN STATE TOURNAMENTS THIS YEAR
on the back of the rock...
This is the rock on the night of graduation
This year's (2003-2004) school rallying cry is "RED TIDE!"
The rock was painted prior to the big game this year against Meridian.
After the big game and Homecoming, the Rock celebrates all MBHS students.
Painted right before the MB Wrestling team went to the state tournament and finished in 2nd place, 1 1/2 points behind the leaders. Congratulations!
PIN EM... Those who stay will be champions!
We missed one picture - it was a "good luck" to the 2004 Girls Basketball team as they traveled to the state tournament - finishing in 3rd place at state! This rock design was painted in April of 2004
The rock was painted on the day that 148 Seniors graduated from MBHS
Underclassmen painted the rock this time in honor of the graduating seniors of 2004.
Welcome Back To School - September 2004
Best wishes for a successful season for Football, Cross Country, Volleyball and Girls Soccer!
Three of the four fall sports teams made it to post-season tournements and playoffs this year.
Congratulations to student-athletes for another great season
These are the honored teams
September 2007 - the rock was stripped of several layers of paint before it was repainted by the ASB.
