Analog Circuit Simulator Applet

1)  Read the Directions to fully understand the applet
2)  Under the "Circuits" select "Basics", then "Resistors"

This will establish a system consisting of a voltage source, resistors, and switches.

1)  Placing the cursor over a voltage source will display the voltage and current.
2)  Placing the cursor over a resistor will display the current, voltage, resistance, and power at the resistor.
3)  Placing the cursor over a switch will display the current through the switch.
4)  Placing the cursor over a wire will display the current and voltage.

Right-clicking over the background allows you to select components to add.
Right-clicking over a component allows you to delete or modify component settings.

You should be able to:

1)  Create series, parallel, and series/parallel circuits.
2)  Determine the total resistance for series, parallel, and series/parallel circuits.
3)  Confirm the displayed current, voltage, resistance, and power readings at the resistors, switches, wires, etc, using Ohm's Laws, provided formulas, etc.
