We're in much better shape today after a good night's sleep. After breakfast, we boarded the bus and traveled to San Francisco to take a Tour of Alcatraz.
For lunch, most of the students went to "In and Out Burgers" - everyone says they are great. Most of the chaperones stayed at Fisherman's Wharf and ate seafood.

Our second major event of the day was the Exploratorium at the site of the 1939 San Francisco World's Fair.
We ended the academic part of our day at the California Academy of Science.
For dinner, we went to Pier 39, and then back to the motel for some swimming (cold pool) and our nightly conference.
