We're headed down the home stretch!  Another full day of scientific (and other) activities.  Today we participated in activities south of our motel.

Our first stop was at the San Juan Bautista Mission. Founded in 1797, the mission is still active.  Our bus driver said that the Easter service there is very impressive.

We then proceeded to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.  This is an impressive place - right on the bay - that does a great job of recreating natural habitat in many of their exhibits.

Our lunch was on Cannery Row - right in Monterey.  Some of us ate at Bubba Gump's Restaurant - good food.

After lunch, our outstanding bus driver took us on a tour of the waterfront of Monterey - what a beautiful sight.

Then the students (and chaperones) studied physics at the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz (really - roller coasters are great examples of momentum...).
