Sunday

Our last day!  We got to sleep in a bit this morning - but we had to clean up our motel rooms.

We got on the bus and said thanks to the bus driver that took us everywhere all four days.  Chuck, you were great.  Thanks for showing us the sites and telling us all of that great information about the Bay Area.

Our major trip today was to Stanford University in Palo Alto.  What a beautiful campus!  Two Stanford students led the group on a tour and told us about the academic opportunities as well as student life.  We spent quite a lot of money at the Stanford Bookstore (not too many books, though).  Then we enjoyed the stunning University Chapel - more of a cathedral.

Then it was off to the airport for our Journey Home.  San Jose, Seattle and Deming.  We were all rather tired, but even that part of the trip was fun.

We would really like to thank our Leaders - led by Mrs. Dietzen.  To the teachers and chaperones on the trip, thanks so much for making this trip possible.  We learned a lot, and had a lot of fun.  We hope that next year's eighth graders have as great an experience as we did.
