Saturday

Monterey and Santa Cruz

We started our day in  San Juan Bautista.  There we saw the historic mission and the a section of the San Andreas fault.  We also saw two other groups from Bellingham, small world.  After a quick stop at the mission we drove to Monterey Bay.  In the aquarium.  there we saw many beautiful and exciting exhibits.  We then got a chance to walk down historic Cannery Row for lunch and some shopping.  After that it was back on the bus and out to the Santa Cruz boardwalk amusement park where some of us rode roller coasters, some of us shopped, some of us just enjoyed the sun and all of us had a great time.  Back at the hotel we had our last group meeting, did a little more swimming and a lot of packing.
