Thursday

San Francisco

After a 2:30 arrival at the Junior High School we set out for San Francisco California.  Our first stop was Alcatraz Penitentiary where we took an audio tour.  We then ate lunch.  Some of us had crab cakes at fisherman's Warf while others tried the famous In and Out Burger.  After lunch we drove over the Golden Gate bridge and stopped for a photo opportunity at the overlook.  Then we were off to the Exploratorium for a few hours with hands on science exhibits.  Finally we returned to pier 39 for shopping and dinner before heading back to the Hotel for some much needed sleep.
