For thirteen years, MBJH students have had the opportunity to
travel to California to take advantage of some incredible science opportunities
in the Bay Area.
This year, 46 eighth grade students experienced science
in a hands-on manner May 4-7. Read on for pictures and stories of
the learning that occured.
Thursday, May 4
We traveled at 2:30 am. We visited the Marine Science
Institute. We went to Stanford University. We played
mini-golf. We're tired.
Friday, May 5
We left our hearts in San Francisco. Alcatraz, the
Exploratorium, The Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39, Bubba Gump. Great
times were had by all.
Saturday, May 6
We went south today - the San Juan Bautista Mission, the Monterey Bay
Aquarium, Cannery Row for lunch, and the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz.
Great times were had by all.
Sunday, May 7
Technology Museum of Innovation, Cinco De Mayo parade, interactive
water fountains, flying home - the trip is over, but everyone had a
great experience. |
