THURSDAY FRIDAY SATURDAY SUNDAY

For thirteen years, MBJH students have had the opportunity to travel to California to take advantage of some incredible science opportunities in the Bay Area.

This year, 46 eighth grade students experienced science in a hands-on manner May 4-7.  Read on for pictures and stories of the learning that occured.

Thursday, May 4

We traveled at 2:30 am.  We visited the Marine Science Institute.  We went to Stanford University.  We played mini-golf.  We're tired.

Friday, May 5

We left our hearts in San Francisco.  Alcatraz, the Exploratorium, The Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39, Bubba Gump.  Great times were had by all.

Saturday, May 6

We went south today - the San Juan Bautista Mission, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row for lunch, and the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz.  Great times were had by all.

Sunday, May 7

Technology Museum of Innovation, Cinco De Mayo parade, interactive water fountains, flying home - the trip is over, but everyone had a great experience.
