MBHS MOUNTAINEER BAND
FOOTBALL SEASON, 2000
The first part of our year is
largely dedicated to learning a wide variety of music that can be used in
entertainment settings such as football games. Here are a few typical
sights from one such game.

|
When our football team scores a touchdown, our band gets to play the
"Fight Song" - and we've played it a lot this year. |
| At halftime, we have the pleasure of entertaining the crowd with the
new music we have prepared for this game. Pictured at the right is
a group of trumpet players (with Alex the tuba player classing up the
rank). |

The Trombone section provides a lot of "oomph" to the low
end of the band. Jeff and Neil are pictured at the left. |
| And, of course, what is a marching band without percussion? We
have an outstanding section this year. (R) Joseph holds the cymbal
for Ben at a recent halftime presentation. |
