ABLE LEARNERS PROGRAM
MOUNT BAKER SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Mount Baker program for highly capable students is designed to develop the talent and ability potentials of young people by:

  1. Systematically assessing strengths,
  2. Providing enrichment opportunities and resources to develop the strengths of our students, and
  3. Using a flexible approach to curricular differentiation and the use of school time.

The Mount Baker School District Able Learner program provides a variety of activities for students in grades 3-8. At different times, these activities can take place: in the classroom, in a small group setting, or on an individual basis.
