We are members of the EPA’s Waste Wise Program. Our 2006 Climate Profile showed our district’s green house gas emission reductions to be 126.75 MTCE.

Our sustainability coordinator has been a member of the Washington State Recycling Association since 1999. She has been an active participant since joining, volunteering at conferences, and sitting on the fun committee. The district’s recycling program has participated actively in exhibits and sessions at two WSRA conferences.
