Our waste stream is reduced substantially with our recycle efforts. Plastics, aluminum, vehicle fluids and parts, solvents, batteries, cardboard, all paper, electronics, glass, tin cans, light tubes, and text books are collected in each of our schools for recycling. In the 2006-07 school year we were responsible for recycling over 176,000 pounds of materials and thus keeping over 881 cubic yards of material from being disposed of as garbage.
