Our waste stream is reduced substantially with our recycle efforts. Plastics, aluminum, vehicle fluids and parts, solvents, batteries, cardboard, all paper, electronics, glass, tin cans, light tubes, and text books are collected in each of our schools for recycling. In the 2007-08 school year we were responsible for recycling over 207,000 pounds of materials and thus keeping over 1099 cubic yards of material from being disposed of as garbage.
