Attendance: Dr. Gary Wall – Chair; Sher Ross – HS Rep; Max Duncan – Kendall Rep; Jon Anderson – Acme Rep; Adrienne Somera – JH Rep; Doug Sutton – Webmaster
Dr. Wall introduced himself and shared his background – especially his work with instructional technology leadership.
Purpose/Role of the MBSD Technology Committee: Education of teachers and students in the use of instructional technology.
Several motions were made:
 | M/S/C - Hardware request – JH Lab Printer will be purchased by the committee. |
| M/S/C – Summer Institute Technology Trainers – pay them |
| M/S/C – Authorize Mark Challender to purchase 10 machines – up to $3000 |
The rest of the budget requests will be tabled until we develop the budget.

Becky from the ESD will be invited to observe one or more meetings in order to give us an outside perspective on our work.
Find a history of the Tech Committee budget – we will try to help fund the hardware plan as well – once we have determined our budgetary needs regarding staff development, etc.
Geometers Sketchpad – Adrienne will work with Gary to find the PO from the original purchase years ago.
We want to invite Mark Challender to share new possibilities – given the new functionalities with the new software installed on our network
Tech Plan – page 14 – this will be our blueprint for developing our yearly priorities at our next meeting
Dr. Wall would like to consider having someone chair the committee other than the Assistant Superintendent.
