For Classroom Teachers .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .

 

1.     Create a multimedia document describing your ‘place’.  The document must utilize digital tools technologies that have been purchased inserviced by the grant.  The electronic document must be created in either FrontPage 2000, Powerpoint, or Inspiration software. Your document should be an interdisciplinary investigation of your 'place'.  It should tell a story.  The document must be completed by March 1, 2001 so that it can be disseminated via conferences, presentations, staged media events, etc.  [A template will be provided]

 

2.     A web description/lesson plan that delineates how your ‘place’ study was designed and implemented.  This on-going document will be added to the project website as the place study unfolds.  This document should show kids in action conducting their ‘place’ investigations.  [A template will be created ahead of time so that teachers can have the benefit of a planned sequence of deadlines.]

 

For Project Staff  .  .  .  .  .  .  . 

In web format this document will be a compendium of all projects showing highlights and details—a documentary of classroom and staff development highlights.  It will be included in the final project report to OSPI.
