The Digital Tools project will  .  .  .

 

Project Staff

 
  • increase student achievement in school disciplines (e.g. science, math, social studies).  This interdisciplinary 'place' study will allow in-depth examination of specific concepts & skills mapped directly to the Washington State Essential Academic Learning Requirements (EALRs).                                            

 

  • improve student writing skills as they become web authors.
                        

 

  • improve student higher-order problem solving skills as they progress through an action research model in their 'place' study.                                         

 

  • improve student communication skills as they develop digital multimedia web-based products.  

 

  • improve student technology skills as they use various digital tools.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • improve teacher technology skills as they use various digital tools.

 

  • improve teacher collaboration, communication, and networking

 

  • encourage teachers to utilize project-based technology curriculum models.

 

  • develop a 'place study' interdisciplinary curriculum model.
