Enter the Teacher Skills Ladder from this page. The Teacher Skill Ladder consists of 11 separate digital skills (or categories) that are part of our Digital Tools Place Study Project. As a participant you are expected to master as many of these skills as you possibly can. For each of those skills that you master you will be rewarded with Digital Tools $$$--equipment & software-- to spend on your project. For each skill or task that you accomplish you must verify that you completed it. Directions are provided within the description of each task as how to verify a task.
To start the Teacher Skill Ladder process you can either click on the picture of the category or click in the box at the right labeled 'Skill Ladder Category'. [You may have to use this second process since sometimes the images do not connect to their respective Teacher Skill Ladder categories. You will also notice that some of the 11 categories have Skill Ladder Task Sheets to accomplish also and some do not. You can tell which ones do and which ones do not simply by reading in the box at the right of the category.
So, start by clicking on the title of a Skills Ladder category (e.g. File Management) to open the ladder. These task sheets have been written generically so that, with minor modification, you might be able to use them with students. Also, you will notice that some of these were accomplished during the summer workshop. Enjoy.
