Attention Mount Baker - the law enforcement situation near Kendall Elementary is now resolved, and the students and staff are being returned to the Kendall campus to complete their day as scheduled. Thank you.
Attention Mount Baker - due to law enforcement activity near Kendall Elementary, any students and staff on that campus are being moved to the High School campus out of an abundance of caution. The district will be contacting the parents of those students directly. An update will be sent out when more information is available.

All schools within the Mount Baker School District have power and connectivity; however, we have parents and staff who are likely still without power and connectivity as there are outages in our area and in Whatcom County. Please keep this in mind if you cannot connect with students or staff. Based upon the PSE outage map, restoration times are still undetermined. Thank you.
The Mount Baker School District, like much of Whatcom County, is experiencing power outages and connectivity issues. At this time, Kendall Elementary is without power and staff are being released early. Given weather impacts on power and connectivity is continuing to occur, we will plan to provide an update tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM. Thank you.

The Mount Baker School District is experiencing power, phone, and Internet connectivity issues in Glenhaven and in Kendall due to high winds. Kendall Elementary has been impacted and has inconsistent phone and internet connectivity. The 21st Century Boys and Girls Club is cancelled for this afternoon. We will provide an update at 2:00 PM on the status of these issues.
