If you plan to volunteer for a field trip, or help in the classroom, you need to have a current Washington State Patrol background completed. Parents/guardians and community members can fill out a Volunteer Application packet (also available from your school's secretary).

How to apply to volunteer:

  1. Fill out and turn in your volunteer application at least a week in advance of the activity (you can turn it in at a school office or the district office).

  2. Bring your I.D. and COVID-19 vaccination verification with you when turning in your application (as of October 18th, 2021, all volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to volunteer at MBSD).

  3. If you filled out an application in the past, please check with Angie Bass at (360) 617-4602 to see if it is still current, as they are only good for two years.
