It’s time to begin planning for your student’s transition to high school. In order to help support this exciting move, we are inviting you to our annual Incoming 9th Grade Family Night on Tuesday, March 24th at 7:00pm in the MBHS Auditorium.
At this meeting students and families will:
Choose classes for the upcoming school year
Learn about graduation requirements
Have a chance to sign up for clubs, activities and athletics
Attendance at this event is extremely important and we hope that you can make it. We are looking forward to meeting you and starting to work with your 8th grader throughout the course of the spring and into next year.
Upcoming 8th-9th grade transition events:
March 16-20 -- 8th graders see demonstrations of high school electives during Base Camp
March 24 -- Incoming 9th Grade Family Night (students & families should attend)
Mid-April -- High school counselors meet with 8th grade students
Mid-May -- 8th graders tour high school campus
Mid-May -- 8th graders learn about extracurricular activities during Base Camp
Late August -- Students attend 9th grade orientation and receive final class schedule
