Calling all artists! Whatcom County teens are invited to submit their 2D art for consideration for publication in our teen art book, Whatcomics 2023.
The rules are simple: be a Whatcom County teen in grades 6–12 and submit your original artwork on or before October 31, 2023. We encourage all artistic styles including drawing, painting, collaging, protest art, comics and doodles. However, because of copyright issues, no fan art or art based on other artists' work is allowed.
Submissions can be made by uploading artwork at our website at wcls.org/whatcomics or dropping your work off at any public library. Accepted artists receive a copy of the book to keep. We'll host a special celebration at the Lynden Library on January 13, 2024. More details to come! Grades 6–12.
