Due to ongoing weather impacts, Mount Baker School District will remain closed on Friday, January 19th.
The side roads across our District remain heavily impacted by snow. Temperatures are expected to rise, but it did not seem like it was going to be enough to melt snow to the point of making roads safe enough for vehicle travel.
The decision was made tonight in order to support families who need to make childcare adjustments when school is cancelled.
