With a desire to increase school safety, Mount Baker School District continues to work closely with The Whatcom County Sheriff's Office.
The WCSO's SWAT team is planning to visit our elementary schools for training and to learn the layout of each campus this week. They will be at Kendall on Wednesday (5/21/2025) from 5pm-7pm and then the following Thursday evening (5/22/2025) starting at Acme at 5pm and then will head to Harmony after. One or more members of the district leadership team will be at each training session.
