Mount Baker schools will operate on a 90 minute (1.5 hour) delay for Friday, Dec. 12, 2025. The late start will allow for the morning commute to happen in daylight.
The district has worked with the state and local emergency management to make safety determinations. Transportation routes should run on normal schedules, with the following exceptions:
Route 14, Mosquito Lake Road could have delays as Porter Creek has washed out. Both ends of the road will have service.
Route 33 will have to turn around at Glacier Fire Hall as the bridge in Glacier is out. Students in that area should meet the bus at the fire hall.
