The Mount Baker School Board extends a great big Baker THANK YOU to Kelly Zender for his service to the District. Over the past four years, Kelly participated in the superintendent search that brought Mary Sewright to the District, attended many conferences in dedication to his professional learning, and helped the District work through challenges related to the COVID pandemic. He also volunteered to work with the Mount Baker Coalition to review District discipline policy.
Kelly's knowledge of construction will be greatly missed (we may need him to be a board consultant!). We wish Kelly the best and hope he gets to enjoy a little more time with his family! November 4, 2021 will be Kelly's last board meeting.
